Terms and PoliciesPrivacy Notice
Soulvy.ai (“Soulvy”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is the controller for the processing implemented through the Services available at Soulvy.ai. This notice describes how we process personal data to provide the Services, in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (“EU GDPR”), the UK GDPR and, where applicable, other data protection legislation.
Data we collect
We collect the personal data you provide when creating or using an account, such as your email address, an encrypted password, your screen name, and gender selection. During normal use we may log your IP address, sign-in count, and country detected from your IP, along with your AI companion preferences. Every prompt you send and every AI-generated response you receive is collected to the extent it contains personal data. Payment processing captures your name, email, the last four digits of your card, your bank name, IP address, and transaction details.
How we use data
We use your data to authenticate your account, operate and deliver the AI chat features, improve product quality, prevent abuse and fraud, support purchases, and meet our legal obligations. For safety and moderation purposes, flagged conversations may be reviewed. We do not sell your personal information.
How we share data
We may share personal data with service providers who help us operate the Services, including hosting, payments, analytics, and third-party AI model providers that may receive the content of your messages to generate responses. We may also disclose personal data where required by law, court order, or governmental request, or to protect the rights and safety of Soulvy, our users, or others.
Data retention
We retain personal data only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Notice and for legal compliance. Account data is retained until you request deletion. Financial and transactional records are kept for the period required by applicable tax and accounting laws. System logs are purged after a limited period. We take reasonable measures to protect the security of personal data.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, rectify, restrict, or erase your personal data; to object to certain processing; to request portability; and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. We will make every reasonable effort to respond to legitimate requests promptly and in line with applicable law.
